Anniversary surprise
Paul asked me to make an anniversary video using photos and video from their 5 years together. As an added challenge, he wanted it to be cinema quality as he had organised a private screening in central London.
Most of the content was iphone pictures but he also wanted me to include his wedding video as well a recent videos of his daughter. A crucial element of this project was the music which spanned the entire 25 minutes. The video ended with a photo of a recent ultrascan but as this happy news was yet to be shared with the family, Paul asked me to make another version with that part left out.
As my film had to be tested in the cinema, the turnaround time was less than first anticipated but I did everything I could to ensure the experience was special.
VHS voice clone
Phil was set to get married but wanted to surprise his bride on their big day with something unusual. Her father passed away some years ago but Phil asked me to use old VHS recordings to make a speech, which he would write himself. I used AI voice cloning technology to achieve something which my client described as ‘profound.’ My main concern was the bride who thankfully described it as the highlight of the day.
This was one of the most unusual, interesting and challenging projects I have worked on, especially given how new voice cloning technology is and how poor the quality of the audio was. I am very proud of how it turned out as it pushed me to the extremes of my creative limit.
65th Wedding Anniversary
Christine asked me to make a slideshow video celebrating an incredible 65 years of marriage to her husband. It was a real pleasure to work on such a project as not only was it an inspiring story but also because I know it will be treasured within her family for generations to come.
